Leave it to male leaders to choose the worst options to increase the birth rate. Not affordable housing. Not reduction in work hours. Instead, the most regressive options are implemented.

The sinister part of this plan is that it shows that the government of China does not want the birth rate to increase through voluntary means. No, they want it to increase because of people not being able to afford contraception.

Like most plans to increase the birth rate, this will probably reduce the birth rate even more. Women are tired of being treated as slaves and second class citizens, and this may finally give many more a reason to forsake sex with men entirely.

China’s birth rate dropped by 17% from 2024 to 2025. We expect the shift into 2026 to show an even more massive drop. This is a great trend to see, because it shows that once birth rates drop below 1.0, they begin to crash more and more rapidly. China’s trends show where the birth rate numbers for the United States could be within a decade.

The birth rate is guaranteed to drop in the United States, because America is now emulating the absolute worst aspects of China. We are seeing the rise of the toxic manosphere online, similar to Asian countries like China and Korea. Additionally, Americans are having to work longer and longer just to survive. Some Americans already live under the infamous “996” work schedule that is pushed in China, 9 AM to 9 PM, 6 days a week (72 hours). Buying property to live in has become impossible for most Americans, similar to the real estate conundrum in China.

The only response to such a culture of slavery is for citizens of a country to opt out of giving birth entirely. There is no benefit to giving birth for a woman, despite the state of the economy. But the male oligarchs in charge of China and America have made living and working so oppressive that even the most patriarchal men won’t want to have children either.

Why should the birth rate go up? What’s the real reason? So more people can live 72 hours a week and still live in poverty? So more children can grow up to die in imperialistic wars? Whatever the case, the reasons can only be nefarious.

When governments want higher birth rates, but they don’t do a single thing to make your life better, it’s clear that you are nothing but a slave and unit of production to them. In the long run, not having children is actually the only way to shift power away from the oligarchs. Less people desperate to enter the labor force means wages and benefits must go up.

In China, disillusioned workers practice “lying flat,” opting out of the exploitive consumerist and economic system. Choosing to opt out of the work system is a needed action, but one that can lead to destitution if one is not in a privileged position. But the ultimate form of lying flat that all women in China and America can practice is to continue to opt out of childbirth. Deny the system of new slaves, and the plan of the oligarchs will shatter completely. ♀
