It’s Time for a Civil Split of the United States
The American experiment has failed. We are now living under an oppressive government led by figures like Donald Trump and Elon Musk, whose actions have continually favored patriarchal agendas. With their rise to power, the Republican Party has become a bastion of misogyny, with both Christian nationalists and technocrats conspiring to strip women of their rights, aiming to enforce higher birth rates and control women’s bodies. This agenda was set into motion during Trump’s first term with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and now, we face a looming future where abortion is banned across all 50 states. Once that happens, the assault on birth control and sterilization will soon follow.
It is long overdue for pro-abortion states to separate from those that seek to restrict women’s rights. In many states like Texas, women could face the death penalty for seeking an abortion. The death penalty isn’t just a legal punishment—it’s a direct result of these oppressive laws. Even women who are not seeking abortion are dying in states where life-saving medical care is withheld due to pregnancy-related complications like sepsis. Women are being denied critical healthcare, leading to needless fatalities.
These conditions are unacceptable and must not be the status quo. It’s time to demand secession. States like California and New York have economies powerful enough to stand alone. They contribute millions in federal aid to anti-women states, but receive little in return.
The division of the United States is inevitable as tensions rise between pro-abortion states and those seeking to impose oppressive, patriarchal policies. Rather than waiting for conflict to escalate, it is better that pro-abortion states come together now, in mutual cooperation, to form a new union, and prevent the Christian nationalists from spreading their attack on abortion rights across the nation.
Trump and Musk are not content with destroying the United States—they seek to spread their authoritarian rule to other countries as well, aligning themselves with oppressive regimes like Russia. The Russian government, under Vladimir Putin, has engaged in systemic violence against women and minorities in Ukraine. The global spread of this kind of regime would only deepen the oppression of women everywhere. It’s time for a shift: Russia must collapse, and America must also collapse. These nations to not need do be “strong” or “united”, it’s time that they fracture and split, so they can no longer commit genocide around the world.

States like Vermont, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Maryland, California, Oregon, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Connecticut, and Delaware have the power to form a new union, one that stands firm on the rights of women. This new alliance would retain relationships with Europe and ensure abortion rights for women, while severing ties with the dangerous agenda of Christian nationalists and patriarchal leaders. The time to act is now—for the future of all women. ♀
