Now Is the Time to Completely Eradicate Transgender Ideology and Porn

The rise of right-wing governments and leaders is extremely detrimental to women, and much will need to be done to counter their dangerous policies around restricting abortion. However, one thing where we are in agreement with the right-wing about is the harms of transgender ideology and porn. Our reasons for being against these things are very different, but nonetheless, both us and the right-wing would like to see transgender ideology and porn be permanently eradicated.

With the pressure on transgender ideology and porn reaching a tipping point in right-wing politics, now is the time for us as radfems to apply maximum pressure from our own direction. We need to work to get porn banned in all of America, and then work on the United Kingdom and other major countries. For a long time, the majority of porn in the world has been produced and consumed within America, with most of it coming from one state, and most of it coming from one city in that state. Before California had implemented the condom requirement for porn, the HBO series Pornucopia estimated that 90% of porn produced in the United States was made in the San Fernando Valley. If porn becomes impossible to sell here and profit from, the porn industry will be dealt a major defeat that they will be unable to recover from.

Always know that the right-wing are an enemy of women, but see the new opportunities that arise at every political turn, and know the victories that can be gained in each era. Transgender ideology and porn will not last, if its proponents face a constant two-front war. While the right-wing has been applying extreme pressure to these two dangerous ideologies, let us amp up radfem voices so much that they rival those of the right wing. People should know the feminist reasons for being against transgender ideology and the porn industry. Let us bring freedom to the girls and women of America who have been trafficked and abused. Let’s make this our fight and let’s win it. ♀
