When leaders talk about “incentivizing” women to have more children, they are essentially saying that women’s bodies exist to serve national, cultural, or economic agendas. This is state-endorsed coercion.

When politicians and pundits speak about demographic collapse, falling consumer markets, or pension crises, they are using economic scare tactics to hide their true message: women must be coerced into giving birth whether they want to or not. They are trying to mask forced birth with sanitized terms and “reasonable” concern, but the message is the same—it is about control.
