When Women Act Maliciously, It Comes From Being Male-Centered, Not Feminism
It is undeniable that there are women who commit great acts of harm against others. But it is important to remember that when these women act depraved, they are doing it out of being male-centered, not out of feminism.
Consider many of the women in the Trump administration. These women are not pursuing any feminist goals. They are trying to win the approval of male patriarchs. When they deny women bodily autonomy and justify the deaths of innocent American citizens, they are emulating the patriarchs around them. These women have often been long indoctrinated into patriarchal religions and patriarchal political systems.
When women adhere to the patriarchy to gain power, they don’t have real power. Women like Karoline Leavitt and Kristi Noem are ultimately under the hands of male conservative leaders. Men like Trump see these women as interchangeable units that can soak up blame and criticism. Basically, the men in power can tell these women what to say or believe, and then let them take the fall first when the citizenry is angry.
More sinisterly, conservative men know that they can use these enslaved women to make patriarchal views more palatable to girls and young women. The message they are sending is clear, women must be obedient and follow the patriarchy. You must espouse men’s views even after taking all the blame for them.
Notice that only a certain type of women are often chosen by men to be the mouthpieces of patriarchy. They are often highly religious white women, and ones that can be tricked into having many children with male politicians.
Even outside of the political sphere, women who act maliciously are still doing so from male-centeredness. Women who kill, rob, or rape other women, are often being made to do so under the influence or coercion of male partners.
Women are not killing or taking away people’s rights in order to advance feminism. It just is not happening. Whenever women do oppress each other, males are the ones in charge of the entire operation. The men have a monopoly on both weapons in society and the capability to do violence. They own the police force and armies. Male-centered women might cheer on male-led violence, but they really have little control over how it’s wielded. Despite how male-centered some women are, it is still men that are committing over 90% of the crimes. Even the most male-centered women can hardly act as maliciously as the average man.
You may wonder: how can we prevent women from being male-centered in the first place? In order to do that, you have to start from the outside in. This means entrusting single-women who are not male-centered. It means entrusting women who reject male religions and male traditionalism. You will not be able to start a movement by trying to convince those women that are just mere extensions of their husbands.
Let’s face the truth. Female solidarity is currently low in society, and we know it is so because many women are going to choose their boyfriends, husbands, and sons first. Women too adjacent to patriarchy can overlook its flaws, or even worse, assume them. But just remember, the cohort of single women in society is rapidly growing. By 2030, they will make up the majority of women. Let’s offer these single women our full support. ♀
