Women Want Freedom, Not Revenge

As women, we have endured centuries of abuse, oppression, and violence at the hands of a patriarchal society that seeks to control and diminish us. But let me be clear—our fight is not one of vengeance. The 4B Movement, a movement that we stand behind with unwavering conviction, is about freedom, not revenge. It’s about women reclaiming their power, asserting their autonomy, and building a future where we can thrive—without the weight of male dominance holding us back.

In a world where violence against women remains a heartbreaking reality, it is understandable that some might believe that women, after all we’ve suffered, would seek to retaliate. But the 4B Movement isn’t about revenge—it’s about liberation. We’re not looking to harm men. We don’t want to kill, torture, or enslave them. We don’t need to. What we need is freedom—freedom from the violence that has so long been inflicted upon us, freedom from the systemic oppression that tells us we are less, and freedom from the relationships that have kept us bound to men for far too long.

Our movement is nonviolent because we understand that true power does not come from retaliation. It comes from walking away. It comes from saying no to a system that has treated us as lesser, and yes to a world where we can live on our own terms. This is not an act of vengeance—it is an assertion of our right to exist without fear, without the threat of violence or control.

There is a misconception that women who advocate for their freedom, such as those in the 4B Movement, want revenge. This is not the case. It is simply that we have grown tired of the violence and the abuse. We have seen too much. But instead of responding with hatred or aggression, we have chosen a path of strength through peace. We know that we do not need to perpetuate violence to achieve our goals. We need to stand firm in our refusal to be part of a broken system.

It is not enough to speak of our suffering—it’s time to act on our power. The 4B Movement is about women coming together to say: We are not your property. We are not your slaves. We are free to live our lives, independent of your violence and control. Our refusal to engage in romantic or sexual relationships with men is not an act of revenge; it is an assertion of autonomy.

If some men see our actions as revenge, it’s because they have grown too comfortable with a world in which women were subjugated to their will. They cannot comprehend a world in which women are free. But we are building that world, and it is a world that does not require violence to flourish.

The truth is simple: women are waking up. Women are rising. And we do not need armies or weapons to fight for our freedom. All we need is to stand together, to speak out, and to refuse to accept the conditions that have been forced upon us. We will not be controlled. We will not be silenced. And we will not allow men to define our worth.

This is not about revenge. This is about freedom. A freedom that has long been denied to us. But no more. The future is ours, and it begins now.

Female separatism provides a radical approach to achieving true freedom by establishing women-only spaces that reject patriarchal norms and empower women to live autonomously. No sex with men, no giving birth, no dating men, and no marrying men.
